| What is a lap or nap
quilt? A lap quilt is a quilt to keep your lap warm while you watch TV on a cold
winter night, or for a child to snuggle under. A slightly larger lap quilt is
a nap quilt - big enough to take a nap under. All of these quilts are
machine pieced and machine quilted. Another name for this size range of
quilts is 'throw'; in that they can be used as a decorative item 'thrown'
