Quilter and Quilt Teacher

I started quilting in 1990 and fell in love with all aspects of the art. I enjoy making quilts for everyday use and also those to enter into competitions. Quilting has brought many new friends and experiences. When I retired from the computer industry in 1999, after 35 years of managing software engineers in 5 countries, I was able to devote more time to quilting. This has only increased my enjoyment of it. I enjoy trying new techniques, experimenting with color, and teaching others the techniques of quilting. Over the years my interests have evolved towards 'art quilts' (versus the traditional quilt patterns) and creating my own designs.

Quilts exhibited at:

QuiltFest USA (Louisville KY) August 1994

Berkshire Quilt Festival (Pittsfield MA) October 1995

A Quilter’s Gathering (Westford MA) November 1995 and 1997

Scottish National Quilt Championships (Perth, Scotland) September 1998
